Security beefed up at Metro stations after threat letter

Security agencies like CISF and Delhi police beefed up the security of Delhi Metro after receiving a threat letter on Thursday.

According to the police, an anonymous letter has been found claiming a blast at Rajiv Chowk Metro Station soon. Delhi Police officials are investigating the matter.

This is not the first time when cops have received a threat letter. 

Rajiv Chowk Metro intersection is one of the main stations and lakhs of passengers travel from here. 
CISF has beefed up the security and deployed extra force while cops have stationed extra QRT and PCR vans at <g data-gr-id="22">nearby</g> area.

Previously, a low-intensity blast also occurred at the High Court outside Gate No. 7 on May 25 with no reported casualties. After <g data-gr-id="23">that</g> no bomb blast has taken place in Delhi.
