Sarada scam: Sibaji Panja questioned

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday interrogated Sibaji Panja, a Kolkata-based businessman, in connection with the Saradha Group scam.

He went to the office of the investigating agency in Salt Lake at 11.30 a.m. He was in the office for around 6 hours. Sources said that the investigating officers asked him that how he came in touch with the chief of the Saradha Group, Sudipta Sen. He was also being questioned about some of his investment. They also asked him about the group’s investment in media industry.

He assured all help to the agency to probe into the scam. A CBI officer said that he told them that he would come again if summoned for the sake of investigation.
