Saaniya reigns supreme at Coimbatore Golf Club

Helped by a late flurry of birdies, <g data-gr-id="8">Saaniya</g> Sharma carded an even par 72 on the final day to win the 13th leg of the Hero Women’s Professional Golf Tour 2015 at the Coimbatore Golf Club here on Friday. She finished her campaign with <g data-gr-id="11">a <g data-gr-id="9">otal</g></g> score of 220 to clinch her first title of the season, also her first since 2011-2012. Vani Kapoor finished second with a total score of 225 at the INR 5,00,000 event. <g data-gr-id="10">Saaniya</g> refrained from taking risks in challenging conditions and played a birdie-less front nine with a lone bogey on the 7th hole. However, she had a slight lapse in concentration and carded two bogies on the 10th and 11th holes.
