Reminiscing devotional poets

In the memory of India’s greatest devotional poets, the Department of Art, Culture and Languages of Hindi Academy will showcase a four day long musical theatre festival, Sun Bhai Sadho in the capital. Kicking off on 16 July, these musical theatre acts will emphasise upon the works of Surdas, Kabirdas, and Tulsidas.
Swaying to the tunes of devotional poetry in the central park arena of Connaught place, the poetry buffs in Delhi will be transported to a state of trance. In this four day long festival, Shekhar Sen will perform the solo theatrical acts. Day one and two are dedicated to the the poetry of Surdas, followed by Kabirdas and Tulsidas on the next two days.
