Ranjit Biswal will remain IPL chairman
Odisha Cricket Association president Ranjib Biswal will retain his position as the chairman of the cash-rich Indian Premier League in the new regime under Jagmohan Dalmiya. Although none of the sub-committees has been announced, it has been reliably learnt that there won't be any change in the IPL hierarchy with Biswal being at the helm of affairs. “The east zone units need to stick together. Since Ranjib had supported Dalmiya, we will support his retention as the IPL chairman. He has not performed poorly either,” a BCCI official said.
