Ram comes calling this Diwali in 3D avatar
This Diwali, the family blockbuster Sons of Ram – Heroes will release in over 400 theaters in Stereoscopic 3D and 2D. Amar Chitra Katha, in association with Cartoon Network, is releasing the  film on 2 November, 2012 along with a special short film on the much beloved Shikari Shambhu. A short film titled  ‘Shikari Shambhu and the Man Eater’ will be shown just before the screening of the main feature Sons of Ram.

‘The double treat of Sons of Ram and Shikari Shambu will indulge the Indian kids and their families like never before on the silver screen. A great way to start Diwali celebrations!’ said Vijay Sampath, CEO, Amar Chitra Katha and Executive-Producer,
Sons of Ram.

The film, written and directed by Kushal Ruia, has Sunidhi Chauhan as the voice of Sita. It promises to be a delight for the entire family with a score of four original musical songs and international animation.

It will be released in four languages, Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu in over 400 screens across India and overseas.

The film’s animation was completed in partnership with Malaysia-based Inspidea Studios. The film is converted into Stereoscopic 3D by Maya Digital Studios and will be distributed by DAR Film Distribution in theaters worldwide.
