Quarterathon to take place on 14 October

Delhi Quarterathon, India’s first road running event, is all set to be held in the Capital on 14 October with almost 10,000 runners expected to take part in the competition.

Delhi Quarterathon, which will cover a stretch of 7 miles, is the only road running event to be held every quarter across different cities in India. It aims at being the beginning of a new revolution of running in the country and inculcate a well balanced healthy-work life among the masses, especially the corporate people. The event would also be a platform to raise funds and spread awareness about various pertinent social causes.

Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dixit, Union Sports Minister Ajay Maken, Sultan Ahmed [Union Minister of State for Tourism Government of India], Sachin Pilot [Minister of State for Communications & Information Technology Government of India], Navin Jindal [Member of Parliament  chairman of Flag Foundation of India], Jitender Singh [Minister of State for Home Affairs, Government of India] are expected to be present at the event.
