“There is a high possibility that officers of Directorate of Education are also involved in the fake EWS scam. So far, we are focusing on kingpins and the associates of the rackets. After all of them are nabbed, we will take the investigation forward. It is for sure that some official or the other of the Directorate of Education are involved and if any of them is found guilty he will be nabbed too,” a source in the Crime Branch said.
