Now, Nupur wants to adopt a girl

Nupur Talwar, a suspect in the double murder of her daughter and domestic help, has reportedly expressed her desire to adopt a girl child.
Talwar, who is lodged in the barrack 13 at Dasna Jail since 30 April in connection with the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case, has asked for permission from Dasna Jail Superintendent Virash Raj Sharma to adopt a girl named Ravina Khan, a fellow inmate Sakina's daughter.
The permission to adopt the girl has, however, been denied by Sharma. The jail authorities had asked her to approach the court for permission.
There is no provision in jail manual for granting permission to adopt a child in prison.
Nupur's husband Rajesh Talwar said that he has no objection if his wife wanted to adopt the girl.
Fourteen-year-old Aarushi was found dead with her throat slit at her Noida residence on 16 May 2008. The body of domestic help Hemraj was recovered from the terrace a day later.
Meanwhile, the court hearing the case was adjourned till Tuesday. The judge might pronounce his judgement on Rajesh and Nupur Talwar on Tuesday.
