RSS to hold meeting of pracharaks in Haridwar from Oct 31 to Nov 4

New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has called a meeting of all pracharaks from October 31 to November 4, 2019, in Haridwar. Top office-bearers of RSS including its chief Mohan Bhagwat and deputy chief Suresh Bhyaji Joshi, along with all regional heads of the organisation, are participating.

This time, the meeting holds importance as the Supreme court is expected to deliver its judgment on the politically sensitive Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid land dispute case between November 4-17.

The high-level meeting of RSS takes place once every five years.

Manmohan Vaidya, Saha Sarkaryavah said, "This is not a political issue. The Ram Mandir issue is not political and this has to do only with the faith of Hindu society".

Meanwhile, the senior RSS leader also claimed of 51 per cent rise in Shakhas since 2010. Since then, 19,584 new Shakhas have joined. At present, 57,411 Shakhas meet every morning across the country, Vaidya said while addressing media persons in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday. Sangh top brass also added that RSS is active in 90 per cent of the blocks. Students and youth are

running 60 per cent of all shakhas of RSS.

Like every time, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will have representation in this five-day long important session. They have been asked to attend to get a "sense" of the overarching "feelings" from the conclave, sources said.
