PM to interact with K'taka candidates, leaders today through his mobile app

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with Karnataka BJP leaders, including the party's candidates for the May 12 assembly polls, elected members and office-bearers, through his mobile application on Thursday.
Aiming to engage all of them in the election work the candidates, party office bearers, elected representatives of Karnataka and millions of party workers will be communicated directly by the Prime Minister.
All senior party leaders, MPs, legislators and public representatives of Karnataka will also be participating.
Amid political developments with the round of the Assembly elections, the state has entered into the final leg of campaign trail after the last date of nominations filing on Tuesday.
The party also seems desperate to pound the Sothern part of India with a major victory in the state of Karnataka. Reportedly, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi would address rallies in Chamarajanagar, Belagavi on May 1. He will address rallies at Kalaburgi, Ballari and Bengaluru on May 3, along with will a rally in Shivamogga on May 5.
Besides, PM Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah 40 other star campaigners will be campaigning for the party, including Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj, Nirmala Seetharaman and Smriti Irani and fire-brand leader of the saffron corridor and the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Meanwhile, many poll pundits are talking about a hung Assembly, where many are predicting 'unexpected' political alliances.
BJP sources that the party is set to release its manifesto within a week. However, no dates and schedule have been finalized yet.
For the first time in India, the M3 EVMS will be used in Karnataka. The state is going for polls in 224 seats on May 12 and the counting will be done on May 15.
