ITBP organises excursion tour for schoolchildren

New Delhi: Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) organised an excursion tour for the schoolchildren of Kondagaon of Chhattisgarh, who won various medals in State level sport competitions like Archery, Judo, Hockey etc. These students have been trained and groomed by ITBP instructors on the spot.
The tour started on 29 January and will terminate on 3 February.
Twenty-one-member team consisting of 20 students (16 girls, 4 boys) and one teacher from Kondagoan (Chhattisgarh) visited various historical places of New Delhi.
The Team on Wednesday met Hon'ble Union Home Minister Sh. Rajnath Singh alongwith Sh R K Pachnanda, DG ITBP and shared their experience on the tour. Sh Singh blessed the group members for their bright future ahead.
This was the eighth such tour organised by ITBP during this financial year for the schoolchildren of remote areas.
