9 Northern rlys staffers honoured

New Delhi: Northern railways has honoured nine of its employees for their prompt action and alertness which averted possible train accident. They were honoured through safety awards and as a recognition of meritorious services, officials said here on

Monday.

The awards were presented by TP Singh , General Manager, Northern Railway.A lso present on this occasion were Archana Joshi, Additional General Manager, Northern Railway, Seema Kumar, Principal Chief Safety Officer, Northern Railway and the Principal Heads of all departments of Northern Railway. The nine employees who were felicitated by the General Manager for their services are: Ram Kirat / Porter / Bilwai of Lucknow division; T.N.Gond/Loco Pilot Mail / Lucknow division; Amit Kumar/Assistant Loco Pilot/Lucknow division; Ganesh Shankar Shukla/ Gateman/Shrirajnagar of Lucknow division; Madan Pal/CSM/Umar Tali of Moradabad division; Shakti Ram/Keyman/Mukerian of Firozpur division; Rajendra Singh/Trackman/ Nakodar Jn. of Firozpur division; Chandra Bhan/Loco Pilot /Kalka of Ambala division; Vishambar Dayal Meena /Kantewala/Pyala of Delhi Division.

The meritorious contributions of all the above named staff were highly appreciated by the General Manager.
