Modi greets Afghan Prez 96 days before his b’day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent birthday greetings to Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani — some 96 days before the occasion. Modi greeted the Afghan leader through a tweet which said: “Happy Birthday @ashrafghani. Praying for your long life and exceptional health and a joyful journey ahead.” An obviously surprised Ghani, who was in Munich, responded, “@narendramodi Greetings from Munich Mr PM. Although, my birthday is on 19th May, but I’d still like to thank you for your gracious words).”
