‘Marc Antony and I had relationship troubles early on’

Singer-actor Jennifer Lopez knew her marriage to Marc Anthony was troubled early on, but she tried for years to make it work.

The Selena star wed the ‘Puerto Rican’ crooner in 2004 and they welcomed twins Max and Emme in 2008, reported Contactmusic.

The 46-year-old previously revealed Anthony was a source of strength for her failed relationship with actor Ben Affleck, reported Contactmusic. “I hung in there for seven years. I knew very quickly that it wasn’t the right thing,” she said.

After the relationship ended, Lopez was determined to stay cordial with her ex for the sake of their eight-year-old twins.

“When it comes to work, I never get tired. But with personal failures, I have thought, ‘This is too hard’.”
