Chef Harmender Mathur is an <g data-gr-id="13">award-wining</g> pastry chef and has recently joined The Imperial, New Delhi as Executive Pastry Chef. In 1998 he created The Tallest Cake of the World, which made an entry in Limca Book of World Records and was also awarded the Gold and Silver Medal for the best innovative desert competition held by the Delhi Tourist Development Corporation known as the Mango Culinary Contest in 1997, 1999 and 2000. About the La Baguette Experience he says, “Cheesecakes are my personal favourite. It took me years to master the finer nuances and understand the cacophony of a cheesecake as it melts on the sublime heat of your tongue.”
