Mamata inaugurates centenary of Bharat Sevasram Sangha
Tolerance is nothing but universal religion, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said while inaugurating the centenary of Bharat Sevasram Sangha at Netaji Indoor Stadium on Saturday evening.
She said: “We are born in an environment of tolerance which is the basis of our religion and society and we will have to preserve our rich heritage.” Lauding the work taken up by the sangha she said the organisation was serving the poor and needy for the past one century. Wherever there is natural calamity and sufferings of people, one can find the monks of the order whose selfless service help the people to come back to their normal life. “For any organisation surviving for a century was not a matter of joke and it is possible only when the persons involved do self less service,” she said.
