Love to know about different people: Hooda

Some people endear themselves to everyone instantly, actor Kajal Aggarwal is one such person. At the press conference of her upcoming movie Do Lafzon ki Kahani, in which she is starring opposite actor Randeep Hooda, she walked in, wearing her heart on her sleeves, talking while flashing her bright and refreshing smile she won over everyone’s heart before they knew it.

Gone are the days when making directors and actors used to make a movie and then await audience response. “When you’ve a gazillion things to look at, it’s difficult to make sure to get a proper response or any response, until and unless the package is well presented and marketed to people. You have to go and shout to the people. So, here we’re doing our job,” expressed Kajal.

Do Lafzon Ki Kahaani is a love story, about a boy and a girl who meet through fate in a foreign land (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia). Later as their friendship develops they realise how fate has a larger role to play in their life. The movie is a re-adaption of the Korean movie Always (2011) and Kannada movie Boxer (2015).

Randeep told the media that it’s their attempt to make this beautiful story reach to more people, and their desire that it be appreciated by many more. Although it has been produced in two languages already, they are sure of its success as the movie carries an altogether different way of telling the same narrative.

The star cast also clarified that the story has no similarity with Deepika Padukone and Neil Nitin Mukesh starer Lafangey Parindey. However, both movies have a blind female lead and the hero as the cause behind their blindness and eventually the savior. While according to the actors, Lafangey Parindey was more of an action movie, the recently released movie has romance as its major theme.  The plot of the movies are diametrically opposite to each other.

“I’m an actor, not because I love seeing myself on screen and have craze for photographs, autographs. Since childhood, I’m curious and love to know about different people, their problems. My school hasn’t educated me as much, as the movies and the journey of making a movie did.

It has made me a sensitive person.  “So, that curiosity makes me take different shapes and sizes, painting me as different individuals like in Sarbjit, Rang Rasiya, Highway and now Do Lafzon Ki Kahaani”, exclaimed the 39-year-old Randeep when asked about his different roles in the recent movies. Randeep Hooda and his co star, Kajal Aggarwal confirmed the news that they have pledged to donate their eyes which they decided while shooting for the movie.

They said that they realized the struggle of  a person without vision and felt it was essential to help by contributing whatever little they can. Do Lafzon Ki Kahaani presents Hooda as a cute lover boy who once used to be an MMA fighter while the Singham fame actor plays a blind girl, Jenny who is quirky, chirpy and is obsessed with Hindi TV serials.
