‘Life began moving into new direction’

Drew Barrymore might have shocked everyone by announcing split from husband Will Kopelman last week but the actor says she saw the separation coming a couple of months ago. 

The 41-year-old 50 First Dates actor and art consultant Kopelman, who have two daughters together, confirmed their split over the weekend, in a joint statement, reported Aceshowbiz.

“I had a really hard time a couple of months ago and kind of knew life was heading in a new direction. I called someone that I really trust, respect, and believe in, because he has always been the conductor of grace. I said, ‘What’s your advice?’ And he said, ‘You put one foot in front of the other’,” Barrymore said in her first post-separation interview.
