Laal Rang gets UA certificate with four verbal cuts

Syed Ahmad Afzal’s directorial Laal Rang, a film that talks about the thriving black-market in blood banks in Haryana, has sailed through the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with no visual cuts.

However, four expletives uttered by actor Randeep Hooda in the film have been deleted from the sound-track.

The Board approved the film certification on Monday –just four days ahead of release, but the producers are yet to receive the censor certificate.

CBFC Chairperson Pahlaj Nihalani urged producers to submit their films well in advance before release.
