SFDC to introduce fish and cake combo with tea/coffee at its Nalban restaurant

Kolkata: The State Fisheries Development Corporation (SFDC) is introducing a combo of fish and cake with a blend of tea or coffee in its restaurant at Nalban Food Park to mark the occasion of Christmas and New Year.

The combo will be available in the range of Rs 90 to Rs 400. "The last week of December — Christmas and New Year — is the time when people love to have cakes accompanied by tea or coffee and fish is always a favourite among the people of the city. Hence, we decided to introduce this unique combo. It will be available from December 25 to January 1 in our All Fish Restaurant at Nalban Food Park," a senior official of SFDC said.

There will be as many as 10 fish items that will be clubbed with cakes, pastries and tea coffee and served to customers. "No restaurant in the city will be serving such a wide variety of fish items at a price which will suit all pockets," the official added.

The Bangali combo of Bhetki Fry/Chingri Cutlet/Fish Butter Fry/Topshe Fry and cake or coffee will come up at Rs 200.

The Chinese combo of Mixed Noodles, two pieces of Chilli Fish, Plum cake, Papad and Chatni will be priced at

Rs 250. The Christmas special burger combo will have Fish Burger, French Fries, Caso Sauce, cake and coffee priced at Rs 200. The special dish for Christmas will comprise Grilled Fish, Lemon Butter Sauce, Potato Stick with vegetable salad, plum cake, roasted bread and coffee. The Asian special dish will include Chingri Momo or Fish Momo with cake and coffee combination priced only at Rs 180.

Also, Fish Hariyali, Chingri/ Pomfret Kabab, Masala Kulcha and Fish Tikka will be available at Rs 400.
