One held for furnishing fake certificate for primary teacher's post

Bidhannagar City Police arrested one person for his alleged involvement in fake appointment related cases at primary teachers' recruitment in Bengal on Monday night.
Partha Chakraborty (29), the accused is a resident of Rishra, in Hooghly district. Police learnt that Chakraborty made a fake appointment letter for one Anshuk Sanyal a few days ago. Sanyal took the letter along with him for claiming his job at West Bengal Board of Primary Education. But the officers there soon spotted the letter as fake.
Sanyal was handed over to the police. The investigators started grilling the accused following which, he spilt the beans. "We learnt that Chakraborty gave him that fake appointment letter in exchange of a hefty sum. We took information about Chakraborty from him," said a police source.

However, the investigators suspected that Chakraborty was only small part of the racket. The kingpin of the racket is still at large. "Sanyal is a resident of Behala. That youth was trapped by the accused. The accused assured him to get the job with the fake appointment," the source said. It might be recalled that the state government published the result of primary teachers' recruitment examination – Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET). The recruitment was also started after an interview round.

However, some candidates demanded that the recruitment was faulty. They even had gone to the court. The cases of providing the fake appointments at primary teachers' recruitment were also not new. Police had arrested several from different districts too.
