Much awaited video on CM's song gets huge response

Kolkata: The much awaited video based on the song composed by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the promotion of FIFA Under-17 Football World Cup has become immensely popular with thousands of people watching the video posted in social media.
The Chief Minister had posted the video on September 28 and it has already being shared by thousands of people. She had uploaded the video followed by a message: "It's only a few days now to the grand U-17 World Cup for the first time to be held in Kolkata. Bengal and football are connected with immense excitement, passion and enthusiasm. I am sharing a video, capturing this remarkably great spirit and setting the tone for this forthcoming festival of football. Please enjoy."
The song was released on September 20 and it has become immensely popular. It has promoted the FIFA Under-17 Football World Cup when played in Durga Puja mandaps across the state. The song that was composed by the Chief Minister was sung by Indranil Sen, Minister of State for the state Tourism department, and was accompanied by Subhankar Bhaskar, Sujoy Bhowmick and Joy Bhattacharya. Sen had said: "This one is going to be the best song of the FIFA Under-17 Football World Cup. It reflects the excitement and feelings associated with football. Moreover, the message of communal harmony has also been given through the song."
The state Youth Services and Sports minister, Aroop Biswas, who was also present in the programme in which the song was released, had said that it will also be released in video format.
Within the next few days, the video based on the song has been released. The release of the video during Durga Puja has been welcomed by people as it has come up as a centre of attraction and people of all ages have enjoyed the video. In it, a huge sized football was found passing through different landmarks in the city which included the Howrah Bridge, Victoria Memorial Hall, Princep Ghat, Vidyasagar Setu and Maidan. Moreover, footballers Syed Nayeemuddin, Gautam Sarkar, Subrata Bhattacharya, Prasanta Banerjee and Prasun Banerjee, who is also MP from Howrah, have featured in the video.
In the video, football enthusiasts were found carrying flags of the 24 countries participating in the FIFA Under-17 Football World Cup. The tournament will start on October 6 and a total of 10 matches of the tournament, including the final, will take place in Kolkata. The video ends with voiceover of Indranil Sen saying "Biswa Banglae Biswa Cup".
