Man arrested from Bowbazar on charges of human trafficking

One Ajmal Siddiqui was arrested from Bowbazar on charges of immoral trafficking by Bidhannagar Police on Thursday. A police officer said that he was arrested in connection with a case lodged with Baguiati police station on May 5. The complainant had alleged that the accused was involved in human trafficking. Based on the complaint, Ajmal was arrested. Ajmal is rival of a multi-millionare named Jugjit Singh in the bar business and the latter was also arrested earlier on charges of immoral trafficking of girls. Ajmal's bar, Baywatch, was closed when he was arrested a few months ago. He had secured bail sometime after his last arrest.
