Deb Sahitya Kutir felicitates legendary poet Nirendra Nath at IKBF

Kolkata: Legendary poet Nirendra Nath Chakraborty has been felicitated by one of the renowned publishers in Kolkata Deb Sahitya Kutir.
In a star studded programme at the 42nd Kolkata Book Fair last evening, eminent author Buddhadeb Guha, living legend Sanjib Chattopadhyay also were present there.
Along with them poet Subodh Sarkar, Mayor-in-Council Debasish Kumar, State Minister for Public Health Engineering minister Subrata Mukherjee also graced the event. Mr Chakraborty, who is a Sahitya Akademi awardee too said that, "From my childhood days I was very fond of a publication house, today is felicitating me. It's for me an honour beyond my expectation."
The felicitation ceremony has been followed by the book launches of stalwarts. 'Sanjib Chattopadhyay Omnibus' has been unveiled by Buddhadeb Guha while Buddhadeb Guha's 'Chhnera Canvas' has been launched by Sanjib Chattopadhyay which transformed the evening magical.
Beside these a collection of Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay's stories 'Loukik o Aloulik' have been unveiled. Mr Chattopadhyay said, "I am feeling privileged that I am sharing the same stage with Niren da. He was my mentor and idol too."
