BNCCI team visits Moscow

Kolkata: Keeping in purview the bilateral relationship between India and Russia, a 14-member delegation of BNCCI visited Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladimir, Suzdol from August 30 to September, 4, 2018.

The delegation comprised members from different Trade and Commerce activities in Bengal ranging from Real Estate to Medicine, from Education to Poultry farming among others.

The delegation was supported and flagged off by Alexey Idamkin, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Kolkata.

The delegation had their first meeting with Daria Suntsova, CEO and Board Member of "OPARA RUSSIA" — the Apex umbrella body of MSME Sector in Russia.

The organisation has over 4 lakh members spread approximately over 85 provinces of Russian Federation, with focus on priority sector such as Pharmaceuticals, Food & Food Processing, Tourism, Infrastructure

and Engineering.

The meeting was held at their head quarter at Suvorovskaya Square, Moscow. Ritwik Das, highlighted the Tourism Scheme and other Investment Opportunities in Bengal as inspired by Chief

Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Das also invited the member of 'OPARA RUSSIA' to attend the Bengal Global Summit, 2019, in Kolkata on behalf of Bengal Government. The BNCCI delegation was also invited for a Tea Meet at the Embassy of India in Moscow by G Balasubramanium, Deputy Chief of Mission of the

Indian Embassy.

The delegation ended with a happy note.
