ACAE meeting stresses on issues concerning legislative changes

Kolkata: The much awaited Annual Conference of ACAE CA Study Circle – EIRC was held on Saturday in Kolkata, which involved a galaxy of experts from across India. CA Arun Kr Agarwal, president, ACAE, commenced the proceeding with his welcome address and shared his thoughts behind organising the Annual Conference. CA Madhav Surekha, Chairman of Annual Conference Committee, introduced the theme of the Conference — Be Bold, Be Brilliant, Be the Baton and its importance in the current fast-changing legislative landscape.

In the knowledge sessions, CA Kishor Karia, Mumbai, discussed the implications of Sections 68, Section 69 and Section 115BBE of Income tax Act with the latest judicial rulings.

The latest valuation aspects of business and financial assets were also discussed. CA Venugopal Gella, Bengaluru, discussed the audit, investigation, annual return and reconciliation in GST. The conference was concluded with the panel discussions on "Ocean of changes which is a motion of adaptability". The deliberations at the Annual Conference enlightened the participants on all the issues concerning legislative changes.
