Katrina might miss Cannes Film Festival for Jagga Jasoos

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is likely to give a miss to this year’s Cannes Film Festival as she is committed to finish work on her film Jagga Jasoos.

“The Morocco shoot and all remaining days have to be prioritised. Since the dates of Cannes Film Festival are clashing with the schedule of the film, Katrina had to give the film festival a miss,” sources said.

Katrina made her debut appearance at the prestigious film festival in France last year.

Jagga Jasoos was slated to hit the screens in October or November 2014, but it got delayed and now it is slated to release in July this year.

Jagga Jasoos is a comedy-drama film directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Basu and Ranbir Kapoor. 

The film also features Govinda , Ranbir Kapoor, and Adah Sharma in lead roles, and tells the story of a teenage detective in search of his missing father.

On the other hand the first poster of Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra’s Baar Baar Dekho has been released by Dharma Productions and the lead actress is seen sizzling in an orange bikini. Katrina and Sidharth are sharing the frame for the first time.

Katrina was last seen in Fitoor opposite Aditya Roy Kapur, while Sidharth was previously seen with Alia Bhatt in Kapoor and Sons. Baar Baar Dekho, a time travel movie, talks about a man who gets a chance to see his life ahead and then what he does with it. 

The love story has been extensively shot in Glasgow, Scotland, Krabi in Bangkok and Delhi. The film will hit the screens on September 9 this year.
