Katie Holmes is a great director: Judy Greer

Actor Judy Greer says Katie Holmes is a “great director”.

“She’s amazing. She wasn’t bossy, no ... I mean, she’s bossy, don’t get me wrong, but she was never bossy with me. I liked working for her a lot. It’s fun to get immediate feedback from your friends about your performance. It’s great! It’s always fun to have someone come and see what you’re doing from a different view. She’s a great director. I think she’s gonna be fine” Greer told people.com.

Meanwhile, Holmes previously said that she found it “challenging but rewarding” stepping behind the camera for the first time.

She said: “I was actually on both sides (of the camera). It was an undertaking, but the movie was produced by Jane Rosenthal and you couldn’t ask for a better producer, so I felt very taken care of.

“It was very challenging! But very, very rewarding. Hopefully you just get better every time you do it. That’s what I’m hoping for.” 

Katie Holmes is directing All We Had, an adaptation of Annie Weatherwax’s popular novel which is about Rita, a drug and alcohol addict and homeless mother to a young teen who runs away from her boyfriend’s home with her daughter. 

Katie plays Rita herself while the daughter Ruthie Carmichael is portrayed by Stefania Owen.
