Kapur slips in second round

Shiv Kapur slipped down the ladder sharply with a second round 73, even as five Indians made the midway cut at the inaugural Thailand Classic on Friday. Kapur, after a 66 on first day, is now five-under 139 and in tied 29th place after being tied fifth overnight. Others making the cut were Arjun Atwal (73-67) in tied 35th place, Jyoti Randhawa (71-70) and Anirban Lahiri (69-72) are tied 48th and SSP Chowrasia (71-71) was tied 64th. Those missed cut were Gaganjeet Bhullar and Rahil Gangje.
