ITC Sangeet Sammelan will start from Friday

The 37th edition of the ITC Sangeet Sammelan, 2015 will begin on December 4, with eminent musicians like L Subramaniam and Kadalkudi Mani slated to perform.

The opening day of the three-day programme, which will feature an eclectic combination of Carnatic music besides Hindustani classical, will be held at Victoria Memorial where violin legend L Subramaniam will be honoured, the ITC Sangeet Research Academy Executive Director Ravi Srinivasan said.

ITC SRA Gurus Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, Pandit Uday Bhawalkar, Vidushi Subhra Guha besides Pandit Arun Bhaduri, Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan & Pandit Partha Chatterjee and Victoria Memorial secretary and Curator Dr Jayanta Sengupta were also present with Srinivasan at the media conference.
