I want directors to take me seriously: Mallika

‘I think because of my glamorous image, the serious directors do not take me seriously. I really hope they take me seriously and some challenging roles come to me,’ Mallika said in an interview.
‘It doesn’t have to be a full-fledged main role, even a supporting role (would do). But it should have some acting scope in it,’ she added.
Besides Bollywood films like Murder and Pyaar Ke Side Effects, she has featured in Hollywood films like The Myth and Hisss. Currently, she is all set to debut on TV with The Bachelorette India- Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika to find her soulmate. The show goes on air 7 October. Meanwhile, she will be seen on the big screen in Dirty Politics, a film based on murdered Rajasthan nurse Bhanwari Devi.
She also spoke about pre-marital sex. ‘Pre-marital sex is actually a decision made by two adults and if they are ‘OK’ with it, then its alright.
