HC refuses to interfere in Duncans case

A division bench of the Calcutta HC on Friday refused to interfere in the ongoing proceedings before a single bench of the court, which had asked Duncans to deposit Rs 4 crore by February 22.

While hearing the appeal of Duncans, the bench of Chief Justice Manjula Chellur and Justice Arijit Banerjee refused to intervene in the case at this stage.

They said the hearing would go on as usual by Justice Sanjib Banerjee in the HC and later on Duncan can appeal before a division bench.
