Harry Styles sporting short hair on Dunkirk set

One Direction star Harry Styles was spotted showing off his new haircut on the set of ace filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s World War II film Dunkirk. Styles, who is known for long hairstyle, looked different with his new 1940s-style hairdo on the set of the film, reports aceshowbiz.com.

The singer, who is also a part of the film, was seen wearing a brown military jacket atop an olive shirt while mingling with some extras who were also dressed in the same uniform. At one point, the 22-year-old sported a bandage on his left hand with fake blood on it.

Dunkirk, which also stars Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh and Fionn Whitehead, marks Styles’ big-screen debut.  Information regarding Styles’ character is yet to be revealed, but sources claimed that his character could be one of the 3,38,000 troops evacuated from Dunkirk to save them from German soldiers in 1940.

The film is based on the real life evacuation from the French coast, which was one of the biggest operations of the Second World War.
