Govt sanctioned Rs 1,600-cr road projects in Haryana, says Khattar
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday said the state government had sanctioned Rs 1,600 crore for the construction of roads.
He added that a policy was being framed to upgrade schools and recruit 20,000 teachers. Also, apart from recruiting 13,000 police personnel, the government will initiate the process to fill 50,000 other vacancies.
The Chief Minister, who was addressing a ‘Pragati Rally’ at Hathin in Palwal district, also talked about the Class X results. Expressing concern over the scarcity of drinking and irrigation water in the state, Khattar blamed the previous governments for the sorry state of affairs in Haryana. He assured that all villages in the state would be supplied drinking and irrigation water. The Chief Minister has sanctioned the construction of Rs 45-crore by-pass in Hathin. He also approved the construction of Rs 3.65-crore road from <g data-gr-id="17">Jaindapur</g> to <g data-gr-id="18">Dehlaka</g> and Rs 5.68-crore road from <g data-gr-id="19">Jaindapur</g> to Mandloka. He also sanctioned Rs 8.25-crore projects of sewerage in industrial area of Hathin, drinking water supply and a residential sector of HUDA. He sanctioned Rs 5 crore for the municipality of Hathin.
