Govt concerned about guest teachers, says Khattar

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday said his government is “concerned” for the guest teachers and considering of providing relaxation in <g data-gr-id="13">maximum</g> age limit to them.

However, Khattar also asked the guest teachers to keep patience and cooperate with the state government. “The state government is concerned about the future of guest teachers and their families and will make efforts to do whatever best possible in their interest,” he said.

The government was considering of providing relaxation in maximum age limit to the guest teachers and other parameters in future direct recruitment, he said.

Notably, guest teachers in the state have been holding agitation at several places against the state government in the state, demanding regularization of their jobs. They had accused the state government of not fulfilling its promise of regularising their jobs.
