Get ‘state’ wise

The leading institute of Assam, North East Institute of Fashion Technology (NEIFT) is organising North East Design Fest - a mega four day festival comprising of fashion shows, cultural programs and handloom, handicrafts exhibitions and more. 

The festival is presented by Ministry of Textiles with the support of Ministry of MSME, Ministry of Home Affairs, Handicrafts and the government of Arunachal Pradesh.The festival will act as a curtain raiser to showcase the talents of designers, performing artists, artisans, craftsmen, weavers coming from different parts of the versatile North East region.

People of the capital will get an opportunity to interact with this wonderful talented young visionaries and this shall create a bridge of understanding and mutual growth of thought process between NER and mainstream.

North East Design Fest will be inaugurated by Dr. K. S Rao Minister of Textiles, R. P. N Singh, Minister of State for Home Affairs in the presence of Pranatee Phukan, Minister of Handloom and Textiles Government of Assam. 

To create a fusion of pan-India and NER, designers such as- Monapali, Agnimitra, Gauranga will display their collections along with the NER designers. Starlets Minisha Lamba, Sonal Chauhan with others will walk the ramp.
