Wives of karigars scorched the ramp along with fbb Colours Femina Miss India East 2018 winners , namely – Prarthana Sarkar (from West Bengal), Shrutiksha Nayak (from Odisha), Bhavna Jain (from Bihar), Stefy Patel (form Jharkhand), Spandana Palli (from Chhattisgarh), Sunaina Kamath (from Assam), Osin Mosu (from Arunachal Pradesh), Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia (Manipur), Mary Khyriem (Meghalaya), Lily Darnei (Mizoram), Mamita Debbarma (Tripura), and Pramila Chhetri (Sikkim).
Karigars of Senco Gold & Diamonds also showcased their exquisite craftsmanship live in front of the fbb Colors Femina Miss India East 2018 winners and took them through the jewellery designing process.
Joita Sen, Head – Design and Concept, Senco Gold & Diamonds, said, "Our association with Miss India goes back a long way. While it is recognized as one of the first platforms to bring Indian women to the forefront (nationally and worldwide), the annual event also resonates with Senco Gold & Diamonds' philosophy of empowering women of today and making them independent and confident."
"The Karigars are our real heroes and this event is a small gesture of our gratitude and appreciation for the artists who design jewellery with passion and hard work. It is also an opportunity to share the message with the younger generation that jewellery we wear is an integral part of the society, history, culture and art."
