'Waiting to see how my role in Hello 3 pans out'

Actor Priyanka Sarkar is getting back in the circuit in the third season of an original web series 'Hello 3' on hoichoi.

Having begun with the original 'Hello' way back in 2017, Sarkar is now ready to play a mature Nina opposite Raima Sen's Nandita in the third part of this series which will launch during puja of 2019.

In a freewheeling chat with Millennium Post, she talks about her role, experience of working on hoichoi, and her relation with co-actor Raima Sen, and her upcoming films.

Tell us about your role in this series.

I am very excited about this role in season 3. I'm waiting to see how this story shapes up. It is because people have appreciated this web series that it is coming back for the third time

The story is about two women – played by Raima and me – who cross each other's path, a man (Raima's husband) and the complexities that follow.

In season 2 the plot grew more complex….

It certainly did. The other face of Nina is revealed. Nandita also realises that her life can't be black and white anymore and also that there are no "good girl" stereotypes.

Nina must be taken care of and the wrongs of her own life must be righted. My role was enjoyable in this season. You must watch it.

What kind of homework you had to do for this role?

We didn't really have any workshops. The script reading sessions were very useful.

On co-actor Raima Sen…

We have really become friends. Both of us are foodies, so we discuss everything - from food to fashion. We even met outside the sets for a good conversation.

How do you spend time when you are not shooting?

It's summer, so I like to spend time swimming and gyming a lot.
