Swap honey for sugar

Let's start a revolution against sugar – an addiction we all are aware of, but don't try to overcome. Can we make a conscious decision to move to healthier sweeteners like honey?

Well, honey is the most nutrition dense product nature offers. Then why don't we replace our sugar cravings with a spoonful of honey?

Let's cleanse our system with a warm glass of lemon and honey every morning. Don't go for the adulterated products available in the market but the pure non processed one.

India has a large production of honey and we should start making it a part of our life.

To check purity of the product, open the lid and see if the jar attracts ants. That's an indication of sugar. Also, you can keep the jar in the freezer for half an hour and see if any sedimentation happens. Real honey never separates, neither gets frozen. A good jar of honey, if stored in a cool and dry place can stay good for 3000 years. Basically, the same jar can be handed down as a family heirloom.

It's the need of the hour to remove sugar from our lives. It will be a challenge for sure, but what's the harm in taking a step forward. Let's start educating our next generation about the benefits of honey as well as the perils of sugar. Teachers, mothers, fathers, influencers and everyone out there should unite and start a revolution.

It will be worth it.
