Can you tell us about your role in the new web series on Hoichoi?

We had originally done a film, titled Chupkotha, which turned out to be extremely popular. This is the second part of the web series which depicts Shivangi to be a mature woman, a mother and a journalist. She gets involved in an investigation which encounters several twists and turns before the mystery can be unfolded and the plot resolved.

What has been your experience of working in a web series so far?

The beauty of working on an OTT platform is its enormous reach. I've been getting feedback from audiences in the US, and from Mumai and Bangalore in India. I get a lot of attention and being an actor I love it.

How long do you expect the season of Chupkotha to last?

At least 6 months but it depends on how much the audience likes the supernatural thriller.

Who are your co-actors in this web series?

I'm the hero of the series and my co-actor is this adorable five year old child who plays my daughter.

What made you accept the role of Shivangi?

I've always played strong and independent women on screen so when the role of Shivangi was offered to me, I accepted it with open arms.

Tell us about the director of the film…

The director is Rick Basu and the unit is quite young and energetic. In fact the web series is quite slickly made and there are a lot of special effects as well.
