Examinees ransack school for not being allowed to copy

Some students appearing Madhyamik examinations at Islampur Milanpalli High School ransacked rooms after they were prevented from copying. 

Police said the students from Islampur High School and Islampur Khudirampalli High School were writing their Mathematics paper at the school on Monday. Soon after the examination was started, some of the students were involved in copying others. When the invigilators prevented them from copying, the students threatened the invigilators of dire consequences. Despite of the threat, the invigilators did not allow them to copy as a result of they went on rampage by breaking the door, window pence and furniture at various rooms. After being informed, a huge contingent of police from Islampur reached the spot to bring the situation under control. 

The senior school authorities have urged the North Dinajpur administration to take adequate measures to prevent any such incident in the next papers. The administration has assured the school authorities that enough security arrangement will be done at the school in the following days of examination.
