ER timetable changed

Ghanshyam Singh, General Manager, Eastern Railway on Thursday officially announced the commencement of Sealdah-Jammu Tawi Humsafar Express. However the date and time of the introduction of the new train will be announced within few days.

During a press conference at the ER’s Headquarters, Fairlie Place, the GM said that the train would be run on every Monday from Sealdah station and on every Wednesday from Jammu Tawi. Besides this, the city will get another train which will run between Sealdah-New Jalpaiguri and Padatik Express will be extended up to New Alipurduar and originate from there from October 1 this year.

Kolkata-Ananda Vihar (T) Express will be terminated at Patna from October 1 and originate from there from October 4. Moreover, journey of five passenger trains of different routes have been extended. 

Furthermore, it was announced that Kolkata-Lalgola Express will run four days in a week in place of present three days in a week. Bhagalpur-Danapur Express will run as daily except Sunday. Around 18 Mail/Express and 15 passenger trains are provided with additional stoppages.
