Pete Davidson defends Ariana Grande

Los Angeles: Pete Davidson has clapped back at a fan who criticised Ariana Grande for honouring his late father.

The 'Saturday Night Live' star stood by his fiancee when the singer was slammed for wearing a pendant of his late father's New York City Fire Department badge.

Recently, Davidson posted a picture of Grande on Instagram wearing a necklace with a replica of his late father Scott's FDNY badge and number.

A fan commented "No girl should ever wear your dad's chain. So disrespectful."

To which Davidson fired back in a comment saying, "For your information, that's not just some girl, that's my fiancee. She's the greatest person I know. I gave it to her because she has my heart and that is the most precious thing I own. My dad would be so happy and love her so much."

Grande also commented on the photo. "I love you more than anything," she wrote.

The duo revealed about their relationship last month.
