Jason Momoa's 'Sweet Girl' adds cast

Los Angeles: Netflix is bulking up the cast of Jason Momoa's revenge thriller "Sweet Girl" with the likes of Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Raza Jaffrey, Adria Arjona and Justin Bartha.

Momoa will essay the role of a devastated man who pledges to bring justice to the people responsible for his wife's death as he protects his daughter (Isabela Merced), who is the only family he has left.

According to Deadline, actors Lex Scott Davis, Michael Raymond-James, Dominic Fumusa, Brian Howe, Nelson Franklin and Reggie Lee are set to co-star in the film as well.

First-time feature director Brian Mendoza is attached to helm, while Momoa, Brad Peyton and Jeff Fierson are producing for the streaming platform.

Writers Gregg Hurwitz, Philip Eisner and Will Staples have penned the script.

Garcia-Rulfo and Arjona have also starred in Netflix's "6 Underground", which starts streaming Friday. "Sweet Girl" is Arjona's third project with the streamer.
