The singer, who is often called as 'Shakira of India', has lent her voice to movies like Game Over, Mirror Game, Murari the Mad Gentleman besides Vikram Bhatt's webseries 'Twisted' and 'Hadh'.

Vishal Mishra, I think his melodies have an eternal vibe to them.

I have an inclination towards Jazz and Ghazals

I am lucky, I got to sing 'Sona Nahi' - an Original composed and written by Hindi rock band 'Daira'.

Kangana Ranaut.

A veteran singer you take inspiration from?

Kishore Kumar Ji – He was a self taught and a talent extraordinaire.

Lowest point in your career/life?

The thing about lowest point is, you have so much to learn from it, that it is unfair to call them the lowest. Having said that, I had very difficult years while growing up, since I was figuring my passion for Music, and the fact that I wasn't able to peruse it in a proper way was tough.

Best compliment you have received?

Once Arijit Singh and I were recording in the same studio. He over heard my voice while I was recording and came to compliment me. He said "You have a very good and unique voice"

Three things you can't live without?

Apart from the basic, Roti, Kapda, Makaan... I think, I can survive, without the materialistic things.

One thing you hate the most about music industry?

No one, in power, should be harassing people who seek nothing but work. It's not just about music industry but the world, in general.
