Eddie Redmayne excited to be a father
Actor Eddie Redmayne is feeling “joy, excitement and a bit of fear” about becoming a father.
The Danish Girl actor is excited about the impending of his and wife Hannah Bagshawe’s first child, though he admits he is also feeling a little bit scared of the big change and responsibility.
“It’s our first child, so obviously there’s a mixture of emotions. Joy, excitement and a bit of fear. I can’t wait. I’ll be a hands-on dad,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Redmayne as saying. And the Theory of Everything star, who married Bagshawe in 2014, admits becoming a father will cap off an “amazing” period in his life.
“Having a baby is the perfect ending to what’s been an amazing year. I still pinch myself - every actor thinks about living the Hollywood dream and making it over here is incredible. I’ll always stay grounded and I don’t take anything for granted,” he said. For his next movie role, Eddie, 34, is hoping to work in a new place. He told Closer magazine: “I’m desperate to travel and I keep saying to my wife, ‘Can we go abroad to work?’
