Do not allow meetings near KMC’s gate, Mayor urges police

Mayor Sovan Chatterjee has requested the city police not to allow any meeting and gathering in front of the main entrance of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC). However, meetings and gatherings can be held near the main gate after taking prior permission. It may be recalled that  the Mayor had to walk down to reach KMC building on December 14 after  the main gate was blcoked following a meeting organised by the Congress to highlight KMC’s failure to combat dengue.
