Dikshit asks officers to stay in touch with RWAs

Sheila Dikshit on Sunday instructed the deputy commissioners (revenue) to hold meetings with the resident welfare associations (RWAs) on regular basis.

She asked the officers to work on the basis of the feedback they receive from the citizens while interacting with the representatives of different RWAs in a workshop organised to bring awareness on time-bound delivery of public services.

Dikshit claimed that her government has always been in favour of having an effective contact with RWAs, which resulted in a citizen-government partnership.   She added that her government values the feedback received from the citizens.

The time-bound delivery of services is a tool to overcome unnecessary delay in government offices and make its functioning smooth to ensure timely delivery of public services.
