Demi Lovato to take a break from music in 2017

Singer Demi Lovato says she will be taking a break from her music career in the New Year and will focus on her charity work.”So excited for 2017. Taking a break from music and the spotlight. I am not meant for this business and the media,” Lovato posted on Twitter on Wednesday, reports mirror.co.uk.

Explaining her decision, Lovato told a fan: “Dunno. It doesn’t feel worth it anymore. I’d rather do charity work.” After making her debut as a child actor in ‘Barney & Friends’, Lovato rose to prominence in 2008 when she starred in TV film Camp Rock. 

She released her debut album, Don’t Forget, in September 2008. Serbanescu wasn’t the only one left upset by Lovato’s criticism. A lot of other fans took to social media to call her out for being too harsh.
